About the tour

How long does the boat tour last?
The snorkeling tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. The sunset tour lasts 1 hour. The private charter also lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, though the pace is more flexible.
Where do the tours depart from?
The departure point is decided the day before based on the wind and communicated via WhatsApp or email. The three possible points are: La Isleta del Moro, Las Negras (north of the Park) and La Fabriquilla (south, near Almería city).
How many people fit on the boat?
Group tours have a maximum of 12 passengers. The private charter is exclusive to your group (up to 12 people).
Is the skipper included?
Yes, always. Our skippers hold official nautical licenses and have more than 14 years of experience sailing in Cabo de Gata Natural Park.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If sea or wind conditions are not safe, we cancel the tour. We offer a free date change or a full refund. Safety always comes first.

About snorkeling

What snorkeling equipment is included?
Mask and snorkel for every passenger. A life jacket is also included. You don't need to bring anything.
Do I need to know how to swim to snorkel?
Basic swimming ability is recommended. We anchor in calm, sheltered areas. Life jackets are available for anyone who needs one.
How deep is the water where we snorkel?
Snorkeling is done on the surface, looking down. The seabed is usually between 3 and 8 metres deep. It's snorkeling, not scuba diving — no certification is needed.

For families and groups

Is the tour safe for children?
Yes, with care. We have life jackets in all sizes, including for infants. Children under 11 get a reduced price (25€). We recommend the snorkeling tour for families.
What should I bring on the tour?
Comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet (or go barefoot), swimwear, sunscreen (preferably reef-safe), a hat or cap, a water bottle and a snack if you'd like.
Can the boat be rented for a celebration?
Absolutely. The private charter is perfect for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, anniversaries or any special celebration. You can bring food and drinks on board.
Are pets allowed on board?
For safety reasons and to respect the Natural Park, we don't allow pets on group tours. For the private charter, please ask us directly.
